140628 - Saphiro Hairstyles

Simple Colored Sketch to show off Saphiro’s 3 major hairstyles (not counting the back hair, which tends to go into different ponytails as seen fit)

As the image says, the original style has existed since I created her in 2003 as a Highelf Hero in Warcraft III (I created a 2D plane portrait that displayed a static picture rather than an animated 3D portrait), and has only seen minor variations in how the bangs are placed or styled. The little ahoge was more of an optional thing, too.

the Valentine style, as the name suggests, was done for the valentine’s day of 2014, and was my try at redesigning her hair to be a bit more modern, involving more voluminous shapes and styles.

The New design is something I randomly came up with last night (June 27th), while doodling. I thought it might look nice, and decided to re-draw it on this sheet.The back hair is still an OPTIONAL (so do not judge by it) thing, but it does look quite nice when it’s tied up 1/3 downwards. Hair still reaches to her ankles, albeit not spread out as much this way.

Now, I’m not sure which one to choose for hew new canonized style. Valentine and New both make her look really cute, so it’s a bit hard to decide. XD
